It was my husband’s dream to build BIG rippers. He did like to think big! However being a very small family business it was very hard (read impossible) to compete against the BIG guys.

Since his death 3 years ago, our eldest son, Adam has taken over the ripper/scraper part of the business, leaving me to concentrate on the bunksweepers. Adam took a good look at his own area in the Hunter Valley and decided that a small ripper for use on horse studs and in vineyards would be a sensible way to go. He has gone on to design a small vineyard ripper with hydraulic breakouts (specifically for a paraplegic owner) and continues to bring innovative ideas into the business.

His interest in regenerative farming and his recent award of a Nuffield Scholarship has only served to increase his enthusiasm for our rippers and he is currently looking at making a ripper that can easily convert to a small scraper.
